Thanksgiving Camp (Nov 20-21)

Art is fun! We will get our hands messy with all kinds of art activities during this two-day camp. Kids will try air dry clay and pottery, acrylic, watercolor and oil pastel.

Ceramic Clay Afternoon Class
Age 6 & up
This ceramic clay class offers a basic introduction in clay construction, including hand-building. Kids will explore how to shape clay, understand glaze application, and learn about what happens during firing. They will be exposed to a wide range of ceramic techniques, like pinch pots, coil pots and hard slab hand building and learn about the importance of dedication and follow-through.
This is a series of 4 sessions!

Family Ceramic Clay Sessions
(Children with a parent, ages 6 and up)
Explore the exciting world of clay with us and create treasured memories working alongside your child.
This is a fun and introductory clay class for children and their caregivers to enjoy creating and exploring.
We will learn how to shape clay, understand glaze application, and find out what happens during firing.
This is a series of 2 sessions!

$95/family, which includes one child and mom/dad/caregiver, and ceramic clay and glaze and firing. Each additional child is $20.
Fiber Fun (6 sessions)
Age 5 & up
Children engage their tactile senses, improve their hand skills and express their creativity through weaving, fabric collage, wool felting, batik and embroidery.
Date and time: Tuesdays, January 16, 23, 30, February 6, 13, 20 @ 3:15 pm - 4:15 pm
Tuition: $220 (includes all materials)
Robotics
(ages 7 and up)
Students will learn the basic parts of a robot, how gears and motors work, building "attachment" to make the robot do certain things, programming and basic coding.
When: Mondays, January 8, 15, 22, 29, February 5, 12 @ 5 pm - 6 pm Tuition: $215
Elementary School Enrichment
We offer after school enrichment for children grades K-5th grade. The class offers a basic introduction in ceramic clay construction, including hand-building and pottery wheel. Students will create several unique pieces using the various techniques taught in this course. There will also be discussions about their finished projects, allowing students to talk about their own process of bringing their ideas into being.
We are currently offering our enrichment classes at Murwood, Buena Vista, and Parkmead Elementary Schools in Walnut Creek
