About Us
We are a small business that inspires curiosity and creativity. We strive to deepen the connection between people and art with a variety of art programs.
I'm Maria, and I'm the founder of Creative Art & Clay. I am also a dreamer, a community organizer, and mother of two inspiring children. My kids make me believe in myself. I create a safe and happy place for creative self expression. Art and clay provides the playground that connects children and adults, spreads happiness, and brings my community together.
On a Personal Note
I was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary, a city that will always occupy a special place in my heart. I graduated from Eötvös Lóránd University, a prestigious college in my home country, and moved to New York City shortly after. I took classes in NYU and a few years later, I received a diploma from there as well.
I moved to the San Francisco Bay area in 2014, and settled down in Walnut Creek. I instantly fell in love with the city and the community. The outdoors and the positivity that surrounds the Bay Area is something I truly love. Art, creativity, and self expression are the values that most inspire me.
Dreaming is what makes me move forward and my husband and two cute kids, Layla and Adam are by my side during this incredible journey.
