Students learn the basic principles of drawing, such as line, shape, value, texture, perspective, and composition. They also learn how to use different drawing tools, such as pencils, pens, markers, colored pencils, and ink.

Ceramic Clay Class

This ceramic clay class offers a basic introduction in clay construction, including hand-building.

Kids will explore how to shape clay, understand glaze application, and learn about what happens during firing. They will be exposed to a wide range of ceramic techniques, like pinch pots, coil pots and hard slab hand building and learn about the importance of dedication and follow-through.

Fiber Fun

Handwork is an integral part of a holistic education, educating the whole child. Handwork creates a connection to the natural world through the use of textiles, paper, and other natural materials, and is meditative and engaging.

The activities we will explore are weaving, sewing and stitching, wool felting, basketry, paper crafting, leaf printing.
