Mother’s Day Paint Party –
(Recommended for ages 7 and up)
This is a perfect opportunity to spend some quality family time with mom and create a lasting memory.
During the event, you will be guided by the talented artist Amber Walhovd, who will help you create a beautiful piece of art that you can take home and cherish forever.
When: Saturday, May 11 @ 2 pm – 3:00 pm or 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm (2 sessions)
Tickets: $60/families/session (includes a mom and child, every additional child is $25).

Beginning Crochet
(ages 7 and up) – 5 weeks
Our beginning crochet class will introduce your child to the basic crochet stitches, providing you with a good foundation for future projects.
During the class, we will create our own square that can be turned into a bag, pillowcase or blanket.
Sundays: April 14, 21, 28, May 5, May 19 (No class on May 12) @ 2 pm

Ceramic Clay Afternoon Class
(Ages 6 & up)
This ceramic clay class offers a basic introduction in clay construction, including hand-building.
Kids will explore how to shape clay, understand glaze application, and learn about what happens during firing. They will be exposed to a wide range of ceramic techniques, like pinch pots, coil pots and hard slab hand building and learn about the importance of dedication and follow-through.
This is a series of 6 sessions!

Family Ceramic Clay Sessions
(Children with a parent, ages 6 and up)
Explore the exciting world of clay with us and create treasured memories working alongside your child.
This is a fun and introductory clay class for children and their caregivers to enjoy creating and exploring. We will learn how to shape clay, understand glaze application, and find out what happens during firing.
This is a series of 2 sessions!
Saturdays, 11 am- 12 pm

$95/family/2 sessions, which includes one child and mom/dad/caregiver, and ceramic clay and glaze and firing. Each additional child is $20.
Beginning Drawing Class
(Ages 7 and up)
We will learn how to draw what you see and beyond from direct observation. We will discuss values, dimensionality, and proportion. Drawing everything from the human skeleton to objects brought into the classroom, creating works of art for all to enjoy.

Fiber Fun
(Age 6 & up)
Children engage their tactile senses, improve their hand skills and express their creativity through weaving, fabric collage, wool felting, batik and embroidery.
This is a series of 6 sessions!

Robotics
(Ages 7 and up)
Students will learn the basic parts of a robot, how gears and motors work, building "attachment" to make the robot do certain things, programming and basic coding.
This is a series of 6 sessions!
When: Thursdays, May 2 - June 13 (No class on May 30th)

Elementary School Enrichment
We offer after school enrichment for children grades K-5th grade. The class offers a basic introduction in ceramic clay construction, including hand-building and pottery wheel. Students will create several unique pieces using the various techniques taught in this course. There will also be discussions about their finished projects, allowing students to talk about their own process of bringing their ideas into being.
We are currently offering our enrichment classes at Murwood, Buena Vista, and Parkmead Elementary Schools in Walnut Creek and Walhalla and Strandwood Elementary in Pleasant Hill
