Beginner Pottery Wheel Session
This hands-on pottery wheel class will provide an introduction to the fundamental techniques of centering clay, pulling up walls, shaping basic forms and trimming. No prior experience is needed.
Tuesdays, April 7 - 28 (4 classes) 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

This fun and interactive class will introduce you to traditional hand-building and surface treatment techniques while pushing the boundaries with unconventional methods. We will explore how to shape clay, understand glaze application, and learn about what happens during firing.
The price includes lesson, clay, firing and glaze application by instructor. You will have the option to glaze your own pottery by signing up for a glazing class after the first firing process. (Glazing classes are on Saturdays and Fridays and they are $30/class.) Bring your own beverage and snack and enjoy socializing while creating something special. Note: this is not a wheel class.
